The ThatchTop Burrow returns to the Brandywine Festival in 2027 - fully furnished, installed, and waiting for you in the heart of the in-game world.
Tucked beneath a hand-laid thatched roof and framed by a round wooden doorway, the Burrow is more than a place to sleep, it’s a home that feels as though it has always been there.
Designed and built by Tamerlane Yurts specifically for the Brandywine Festival, each Burrow is a fully realized hobbit dwelling, blending traditional yurt construction with custom woodwork, and curved hobbit architecture.

What Makes a Burrow Different?
Each ThatchTop Burrow is a 16’ diameter circular structure built around a custom-engineered yurt frame, enhanced with hand crafted, exclusively designed features
Fully thatched roof
Sits over the roof fabric, made from natural palm thatch, layered and draped to give the Burrow a cozy cottage silhouette
Solid-wood face frame
Supports the door hardware and creates a round hobbit-style entryway that’s wide, and welcoming.
Four round windows
Evenly spaced along the wall, each with closeable fabric flaps, perfect for light, airflow, and peeking out at the world beyond.
Double-hinged solid wood door
Hobbit ingenuity at its finest - allowing the door to either pivot while still in the frame, or open entirely outward beside the frame, for a large inviting entryway
Reinforced structural doorway
Hidden behind the visible woodwork, ensuring stability without breaking immersion, and pushing the roof rafters into a gentle arched shape over the doorway
“Every detail is intentional.
Nothing feels temporary.
The Burrow looks and feels like a place someone lives.”
A Real Yurt Beneath the Magic
Beneath the thatched roof and custom woodwork, it is still, at its core, a fully functional yurt, relying on over 20 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and setting up yurts. Each Burrow includes all the features that make yurts such comfortable and practical living spaces even for up to 6 people

Roomy and Round - 6-foot-tall walls and sloping roof rafters create an open, circular interior with over 200 sq feet of space and no corners. A space you (and lots of your friends) can stand up in - all the way around
Built-in Ventilation - Multiple window openings plus an adjustable dome flap under the thatch roof allow for ventilation on demand during the day. At night, close it all up for a cozy, warm stay.
Integrated hanging points - Our yurt frame is solid! No soft sides means you can hang lanterns, clothes, baskets, banners, décor, or virtually anything else you want from the wall lattice or roof rafters. This keeps the floor space open and uncluttered, making the interior FAR more usable than normal tents
Tall central roof space - Warm air can rise through the spacious & breathable interior and out through the ring, and anything you want can be placed in the very center of the floor space or hung from the ring - there’s NO center poles to get in the way!
Durable marine-grade canvas - offering protection from sun, wind, and rain while maintaining a natural, breathable feel
Furnished, Set Up, and Flexibly Supported
